Celebrating the Power of Generosity

In 2017, Framingham State University began the quiet phase of a new comprehensive fundraising campaign with a goal of $25 million. Thanks to the generosity of alumni, friends, and community members, that goal was raised to $35 million, and then far surpassed—raising an extraordinary $39 million to support FSU students and programs.

This video celebrates our community’s incredible generosity—see how your contributions are building a brighter future.

Gifts to this effort strengthened every part of the University, with impact across six key areas:

Facilities, Equipment & Technology—investing in buildings, state-of-the-art equipment, and technology that support teaching, learning, and research.

Access and Affordability—expanding scholarships and emergency aid to help students overcome financial barriers and stay enrolled.

Annual Fund—providing flexible resources that allow the University to respond to its most pressing needs.

Centers and Institutes—sustaining 13 centers and institutes that enrich academic and community life, including the Danforth Art Museum and School, the Early Childhood Center, the Christa McAuliffe Center, the Mancuso Humanities Workforce Preparation Center, and many more.

Empowering Students Beyond the Classroom—supporting opportunities such as study abroad, internships, and athletics that prepare students for success beyond graduation.

Strengthening Academic Success—equipping academic departments with funding for classroom materials, innovative programs, and experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom.

This remarkable achievement is a testament to the power of collective generosity. Together, our donors have expanded opportunity, enriched the student experience, and built a stronger future for FSU. On behalf of our students, faculty, and staff—thank you.

“Refer a Ram” and Help Them Earn a Scholarship

Alumni of Framingham State University are now able to provide up to $4,000 in scholarships to anyone they refer to attend Framingham State University!

How it works:

Alumni refer a prospective student to FSU using the link below. If the student is admitted, and enrolls as a full-time undergraduate student, they will receive a $1,000 scholarship each year for four years.

Please note: If the referred student has already applied to Framingham State, they are NOT eligible for the scholarship.
